Rasawala betaka nu shak (gravy potato)

Ingredients :
- 3 small potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- Thinly slice potatoes and onions
- Heat vegetable oil
- Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chili. Let pop
- Saute onions.
- Once onions are cooked (golden brown), add potatoes
- Add spices: salt, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, sugar, lemon
- Add water
Cooker is best for this, can also do in pan
