Red Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • Oil
  • Onions
  • Kashmiri red chili powder
  • Turmeric
  • Greek yogurt
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Garam masala
  • Chili sauce
  • Vinegar or soy sauce
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Black pepper
  • Rice or bread, for serving

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken with Kashmiri red chili powder and turmeric.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, then add the onions and cook until softened.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and cook until it starts to brown.
  4. Stir in Greek yogurt and cook it down into the sauce.
  5. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
  6. Add chili sauce, vinegar or soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the curry is thick and glossy.
  8. Serve hot with rice or bread.
