Khathi-Methi Dal

- Boil toor dal
- Blend toor dal (3 cups water/ cup of dal). It should be very thin.
- Add masala: salt, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder, green chili, lemon, tomatoes (1 tomato per cup) diced, gud jaggery. Let it simmer for 10 minutes on low flame.
- Add into ghee: mustard seeds, hing, cinnamon stick (small), clove. Let it pop, then add a little bit of red chilli powder and then add it into the dal
- Add sing Dana only if they’re cooked,
- Let it boil for 20-30 minutes on flow-medium flame
