Ingredients
- Mixed vegetables
- Onion
- Tomato
- Oil
- Green chili
- Garlic paste
- Ginger paste
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Cumin powder
- Coriander powder
- Kashmiri red chili powder
- Garam masala
- Pav bhaji masala
- Coriander leaves
- Lemon
- Butter
- Bread or pav, for serving
- Diced onion and tomato salad, for serving
- Papad, for serving
Method
- Boil all the vegetables until soft.
- Keep the onion and tomato separate, then grind them.
- Grind the boiled vegetables into a paste.
- Heat oil, then add green chili, garlic paste, and ginger paste.
- Add the ground onion mixture.
- Add the ground tomato mixture.
- Add salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, and pav bhaji masala.
- Add the vegetable paste and cook everything together until the bhaji comes together.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, lemon, and butter.
- Serve with bread or pav, diced onion and tomato salad, and papad.
