Pav Bhaji

Ingredients

  • Mixed vegetables
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Oil
  • Green chili
  • Garlic paste
  • Ginger paste
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Kashmiri red chili powder
  • Garam masala
  • Pav bhaji masala
  • Coriander leaves
  • Lemon
  • Butter
  • Bread or pav, for serving
  • Diced onion and tomato salad, for serving
  • Papad, for serving

Method

  1. Boil all the vegetables until soft.
  2. Keep the onion and tomato separate, then grind them.
  3. Grind the boiled vegetables into a paste.
  4. Heat oil, then add green chili, garlic paste, and ginger paste.
  5. Add the ground onion mixture.
  6. Add the ground tomato mixture.
  7. Add salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, and pav bhaji masala.
  8. Add the vegetable paste and cook everything together until the bhaji comes together.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves, lemon, and butter.
  10. Serve with bread or pav, diced onion and tomato salad, and papad.
