Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 pounds tilapia fillets
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Method
- Heat the oven to 425 F.
- Mix melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, paprika, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pat the tilapia dry and season it with kosher salt.
- Arrange the fish in a 9x13-inch baking dish, overlapping slightly if needed.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the tilapia.
- Bake until the fish is opaque, cooked through, and flakes easily, about 18 to 20 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with the pan sauce and lemon wedges.
