Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • Dijon mustard
  • Thinly sliced cooked deli ham
  • Thinly sliced Swiss cheese
  • Unsalted butter
  • Minced dried onion
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Honey
  • Poppy seeds
  • Kosher salt

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees and line a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with parchment.
  2. Slice the connected sheet of rolls in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bottom half in the pan and spread with Dijon mustard.
  4. Layer on half the ham, all of the cheese, the remaining ham, and the top half of the rolls.
  5. Mix melted butter with Dijon, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, honey, poppy seeds, and salt.
  6. Brush the glaze over the tops and sides of the rolls.
  7. Cover with foil and bake until warmed through.
  8. Remove foil and bake briefly until the tops are toasted.
  9. Lift out, cut into individual sliders, and serve hot.
