Maple and Miso Sheet-Pan Salmon With Green Beans

Ingredients

  • Skin-on salmon fillets
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • Maple syrup
  • White or brown miso
  • Rice wine vinegar
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic

  • Olive oil
  • Red-pepper flakes, optional

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet pan.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
  3. Whisk maple syrup, miso, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, and grated garlic.
  4. Coat the salmon with the maple-miso mixture and let it marinate while the oven heats.
  5. Toss green beans with olive oil, red-pepper flakes, sesame oil if using, salt, and pepper.
  6. Arrange salmon skin-side down on the sheet pan with green beans around it.
  7. Bake until the salmon is opaque and the beans are tender, about 12 minutes.
  8. Finish with cilantro, lime juice, flaky salt, and rice if desired.
